Difficult To Process, It’s A Traditional Material For Fountain Pens With Excellent Ink Corrosion Resistance. The Jet-Black Colour Develops A Subtle Patina With Age. The Polished Gleam Of The Beautiful Ebonite Pen Is Complimented By The 21k Solid Gold Nib. The KOP Nib Is One Of Sailors Most Renowned Nibs And Is Prized For Its Subtle Springiness.
The Stunning Elements On The Pen Were Detailed Using Kaga Creative Maki-E. The Special Technique Was Developed To Help Express Brightness And Colour That Could Not Be Fully Conveyed Through Traditional Maki-E. This New Lacquer Art Was Developed Without Compromising The Artistry And Dignity Of Traditional Maki-E, A Revered Artform Passed Down Through Generations. The Artist Skilfully Created The Images Through A Delicate Process Using Gold, Silver And Brass Powders.
